DroneMobile: Control, Start, and Track Your Vehicle From Your Smartphone

Imagine being able to start your vehicle, lock or unlock your doors, and check your vehicle’s location right from your smartphone. With DroneMobile, that convenience is available at your fingertips.

At Finish Line Auto Sports, we offer modern remote starter technology designed to make driving more convenient, secure, and comfortable. DroneMobile takes traditional remote starting to the next level by allowing you to control compatible vehicle functions through a smartphone app, with features depending on the system installed.

What Is DroneMobile?

DroneMobile is a connected vehicle system developed by Firstech, the manufacturer behind Compustar remote car starters and vehicle security systems. It adds smartphone connectivity to compatible remote starters and security systems, giving you convenient access to your vehicle from virtually anywhere with a supported connection.

Instead of relying solely on the range of a traditional handheld remote, compatible DroneMobile systems use cellular connectivity to communicate with your vehicle. That means you can potentially control your vehicle from across town or while traveling, provided your system has the required service, cellular coverage, and compatibility.

Track Your Vehicle’s Location

Want to check where your vehicle is located? With a compatible DroneMobile system that includes GPS tracking, you can view your vehicle’s location through the app.

GPS tracking and available monitoring features can be particularly useful for families with new drivers or anyone who wants additional visibility into their vehicle’s whereabouts.

Depending on your subscription and system, additional features may include:

Vehicle location tracking.
Geofence alerts when a vehicle enters or leaves a designated area.
Speed alerts when configured thresholds are exceeded.
Curfew notifications to help monitor vehicle use.
Other available vehicle status and activity notifications.

Feature availability varies by system, subscription, and device compatibility.

Start Your Vehicle From Almost Anywhere

One of DroneMobile’s biggest advantages is the ability to control a compatible remote starter through your smartphone.

Whether you’re leaving work, getting ready to head home, or preparing for another cold Wisconsin morning, you can use the app to request a remote start without needing to be standing near your vehicle.

With the appropriate compatible equipment, you may also be able to:

Remote start your vehicle to help warm up the cabin before you get inside.
Lock and unlock your doors directly from the app.
Receive security alerts when a compatible vehicle alarm is triggered.
Check vehicle information using supported status-monitoring features.

Forget to lock your doors after arriving at work or shopping? If your vehicle and installed system support remote locking, you can check the app and lock your doors remotely.

Cellular coverage, system compatibility, subscription requirements, and vehicle conditions can affect which functions are available.

Add Smartphone Convenience to Your Remote Starter

DroneMobile can be an excellent upgrade for drivers who want more flexibility than a traditional remote starter provides. Rather than carrying a dedicated remote everywhere, you can use your smartphone to access supported functions.

Some systems can also be paired with compatible Compustar remote starters and security equipment, allowing you to combine traditional remote-control operation with smartphone-based convenience.

The right configuration depends on your vehicle, existing remote starter, desired features, and the DroneMobile hardware and service plan selected.
